Message from Pastor

Lavon Drive Baptist Church Campus Closure Due to Coronavirus

      RESPONSE DATE:  November 13, 2020

      Dear Church Member or Guest,

Due to the rising Covid-19 cases here in Garland, our pastoral staff have made the difficult decision to take Lavon Drive Baptist Church back to online only church services for November 15 and 22.  This decision has not been made lightly, and has been made with every intent of protecting our church family.

We have a strong desire to be able to meet as a church, but we decided we needed to do everything we can to help ensure safety for our church body as well as feed our spiritual needs.  Worship services will continue on Sunday mornings at both 9AM & 11AM streamed through one of our online platforms (Facebook, YouTube & Livestream.com)

Our desire is to gather again as a church body for worship starting Sunday, November 29.  Mid-week activities such as PraiseKids, AWANA, Real Life, 1TEN, Women's & Men's Bible Studies, and Community Groups held on campus will be able to resume starting Monday, November 30.

Please continue to be in prayer for our church, our church families (especially those that currently diagnosed with COVID-19) and our nation.  It's important to remember that we have a combined faith in an Almighty God Who has control of this situation.  I look forward to worshipping virtually with you this Sunday.

        Sincerely,

        Robby Greene
Senior Pastor, Lavon Drive Baptist Church
