The Name Above All Names Ron Richey (Garland Room)
Names and titles can be very interesting, significant, and beautiful. The many names of Jesus, and the many descriptive titles given to Him, run the gamut of everything from God Omnipotent to the Lowly Meek One. From the One at whose name “every knee shall bow and every tongue confess” to the One despised and rejected. Very seldom has the mentioning of the name Jesus in any form or fashion produced only neutrality. The name of Jesus usually rings some sort of bell within the human mind or heart. As we study these myriad of names and titles, I believe He will become more alive and vibrant because we will have described Him in so many verbal frames and contexts that we can say with Thomas, “My Lord and my God!”(John 20:28).
Women Who Believed God Virginia Richmon and
Living Out Loving God Pat Boyd (Coleman Center 207)
Women Who Believed God — The Bible gives us story after story of ordinary women who, daring to trust God, influenced their families
and communities. These women faced the same challenges we face today: illness, death, war, loneliness, injustice, and difficult relationships.
Yet they chose to believe God in those circumstances, and as a result, the world was changed. (Meets for the first eight sessions).
Living Out Loving God — This study will offer practical ways to demonstrate Christ’s two most important commands, from Mark 12:30-31, in our daily lives. Join us as we study out what it truly means to love God and to love our neighbor as we are commanded! (Meets for the final sessions).
Book Cost: $10 due at the first class.
Why the Wilderness? Russ Davis (Coleman Center 206)
This twelve-week Bible Study examines and gleans the lessons that God allows us to learn as we tread through the times of life that seem to be mundane and monotonous. We will study the trek of Israel from Egypt to the promised land and evaluate the life lessons God gave His Children during these times. This series is applicable to both the seasoned and new believer. Wherever you’re at in your spiritual journey, it is important to see God’s hand at work in your life.
Prayer Lessons from Jesus Russell Page (Coleman Center 202)
Do you want an effective prayer life for yourself, others, and God’s Kingdom? Do you struggle to pray for more than a few minutes? Are you at a loss for words when praying? If you answered yes, then this exciting Life Group is for you! Jesus gave an outline for prayer, and we’ll learn the secrets of the Lord’s Prayer. Learn to pray for yourself, others, and God’s Kingdom. Learn to pray for your provisions, learn about forgiveness, learn how to avoid and recognize temptation, and how to praise and thank God in your prayer life. Change your life with an effectual prayer as taught by Jesus himself!
Respectable Sins Ryan Johnston (Coleman Center 107)
Do you consider yourself a pretty good Christian? Most do. After all, you’ve never murdered anyone, robbed a bank, or smuggled narcotics across the border! When we look at the egregious sins committed by the world around us, it’s easy for us to get lulled into thinking that the “little” sins we DO commit (like jealously, anger, discontentment, etc.) don’t matter or impact our relationship with God. In this series, we’ll dive into a number of the “respectable sins” that Christians commit, often without much concern, and talk about ways we can become more like Jesus in EVERY area of our lives, not just “the big ones.”
Financial Peace University Ryan Schnacke (Coleman Center 203)
You CAN take control of your money! In this nine-week Life Group, you’ll learn Dave Ramsey’s seven easy-to-follow Baby Steps to create a budget,
get out of debt, and make a plan for your money! Within the first 90 days of taking Financial Peace University, an average family saves $2,700
and pays off $5,300! More than 4.5 million people have changed their futures with Financial Peace University. You can too!

Special Morning Life Group!
Ministry of Reconciliation Cathy Page (Coleman Center 203)
Second Corinthians is a book about ministry in all of its various forms. But in the midst of ministry, sometimes Christians are burdened beyond
strength, despairing of life, having fears within, and conflicts without. How do we cope with those things? This study will remind us how to
be strong in the Lord when accusations and persecutions are directed toward us, how to have confidence in Him and not lose heart, and even
how to correct those who are our accusers.
Meets from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon on Sep. 5; Sep. 19; Oct. 3; Oct. 17; Oct 31; Nov. 14; Nov. 28; Dec. 12; Jan. 2; Jan. 16; and Jan. 30
