The Church at Corinth and the Church in the 21st Century Dr. Gary Coleman (Garland Room)
In this class you will take an in depth look at the church in Corinth and compare it with the church of the 21st century. Topics that will be covered include divisions among believers, observing the Lord’s Supper, exercising spiritual gifts, and defining true love. The problems faced by the early church are still problems that we face today, but through this study you will see how God designed the church to be unified and work together to advance His kingdom.
The Legacy Journey Pastor Robby Greene (Coleman Center 209)
The Legacy Journey is a biblically based class that teaches you how to truly live and leave a legacy for generations to come. This class will lead you deeper into investing, basic estate planning, purposeful living, safeguarding your legacy, and discovering the keys to generational wealth and true generosity. You’ll learn a biblical framework for living intentionally now so that later you’ll be able to leave a legacy that will secure your family’s future and make a lasting impact on the world around you.
Kids' Stories Grow Up Russ Davis (Coleman Center 206)
This class will take the stories that we learned in our childhood and emphasize their significance in our adult lives. We may even start with a childhood song to help us pass back into time and relive our childhood experiences in church. Now, if you got in trouble in your youth during Sunday School and Junior Church, the memories may be painful but the message from the Bible adventures is timeless.
Heart to Heart ConnectionPat Boyd, Virginia Richmon, Shannon Gaines, Ashley Winn (Smart Center, Coleman Center 2nd floor)
Heart to Heart Connection--a Ladies’ Ministry is a time to connect with other ladies at LDBC. Plan to be encouraged as we “share our story,” have fellowship, and take time to be refreshed in God’s Word. You will build strong relationships as you pray together and share testimonies of how God is working in your life and the lives of your family. Just bring a receptive heart and your Bible --- and don’t forget to bring a friend.
