Honor Christ
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness… make Christ
the center of our lives. Until we give Christ full control we will never
really experience God’s blessings. Singled Out is striving to do our best
in all we do. Whatever we do, do it all to the glory of God. Live for Him.
When you recognize Jesus as the unique Son of God, the King of Kings,
and the Lord of all things, it becomes clear the command to follow
where He leads is not optional. We seek to move past merely
acknowledging Christ as Messiah and moving toward a radical journey
of living for Him. Matthew 6:33, 1 Corinthians 10:31
Serve
In John 13, we see Christ even knowing His hour was close He still set
an example by washing the feet of His disciples. He wanted them to
see how much He really loved them. It may be in the church working
in a Sunday school class, being an AWANA worker, serving food at the
homeless shelter or helping a missionary in the foreign field build
a new church. Telling someone God loves them today does not have
the impact it once did. However, helping at the Dallas Life Foundation
or some other service project you convey this concept of love perfectly.
In our society, talk is cheap; therefore being Singled Out is to believe
in living to serve so that others may experience the love of Christ in a
tangible way. John 13:1-15, Matthew 20:25-28
Learn
Life is a journey we all take. There are things that test our faith daily.
Paul instructs Timothy to study to show himself approved to God. As
we grow in Christ and continue to serve our church and others at large,
we want to learn as much as we can to create a stronger walk with our
Lord and better serve those with whom we work. 2 Timothy 2:15
